Three programme-specific Training Camps were held during August 2011 after the JUPAS result was released. The objectives were to enable our freshmen to get well-prepared in terms of adapting positive learning attitude, engaging the university activities as well as building up peer network. The program design was conducted by trained mentors and monitored by Project X staff. Each of the training camps had its uniqueness focusing on the needs of the freshmen.
Social Work Training Camp included welcoming lunch, social worker sharing nights, self-understanding workshops, agency and community visits.
Psychology Training Camp included welcoming lunch with teaching staff, team building tasks, treasure hunt in campus, detective game and mentor sharing.
Applied Sociology Training Camp included community walk, a series of critical thinking games, team building tasks and mentor sharing.
